Meet the team

The music industry has seen recording facilities go from the sole province of record labels to home studios as part of a lifestyle. One thing remains constant; no one makes commercially viable recordings on budget equipment.

(One thing remains constant)

One thing remains constant; no one makes commercially viable recordings on budget equipment.

With the considerable expense and highly specialised knowledge and construction skills required to build a professional studio, a sound that’s competitive with major studios and big-budget project studios remains out of reach for all but a select few—until Noatune.

By providing affordable monthly access to world-class equipment and acoustically treated rooms, Noatune levels the playing field for aspiring musicians and producers.

(Why “Noatune”?)

In Norse mythology,

Noatun (Nóatún) is the name of a house on the seashore in Asgard where Njörðr, god of the wind, seafarers, coasts, inland waters, and wealth resides.

Nóatún is described in the Prose Eddabook Gylfaginning as located "in heaven”.

As a nod to his heritage, Kris appropriately named the studio “Noatune”, his little slice of musical heaven in London.
